A clearer view of where your business is headed
Halvard works alongside small business owners in Malaysia — helping you think through what matters, organise how you work, and move forward without second-guessing every step.

Built for how small businesses actually work
Practical, not theoretical
Every session focuses on what you can actually use this week — not frameworks designed for corporations or MBA classrooms.
Owner-to-owner thinking
We understand that the owner is usually the operations manager, sales head, and finance person all at once — and work within that reality.
You leave with something written
Notes, outlines, or playbooks — depending on the engagement. Not just verbal suggestions that disappear after the call ends.
Right-sized scope
Three engagement options let you choose the depth that fits your time and budget — no pressure to commit to more than you need right now.
Malaysia market context
We work specifically within the Malaysian small business context — SSM, local procurement patterns, and the realities of the Klang Valley market.
Straight conversation
No jargon, no sales pitch inside the advisory work itself. We say what we observe and give you space to decide what fits your situation.
Not sure which option fits? Start with a conversation.
Send us a short message or call during office hours — we'll point you toward the right starting point without any obligation to proceed.
Things owners usually ask first
Who is Halvard's advisory work suited for?
We work with owners of small businesses in Malaysia — typically those with a few staff members and an established operation looking for clearer direction. If your business has been running for at least a year and you feel you could use an outside perspective, any of our three options is a sensible starting point.
How do the sessions take place?
Sessions can be held at our Bangsar Baru office or by video call, depending on what works for you. We don't have a fixed preference — the goal is that you feel comfortable enough to talk openly about how your business actually runs.
What happens after I enquire?
We'll respond within one business day to schedule a short introductory call — usually 20 to 30 minutes. That call is informal, no charge, and helps us both work out whether there's a good fit before any commitment.
How quickly do sessions get started after I sign up?
For the Check-In and Roadmap engagements, we aim to schedule within one to two weeks of confirming. The Development Programme involves a short onboarding step first, which typically takes about a week to complete together before the first session.
Is my business information kept private?
Yes. Everything discussed during sessions stays within Halvard and is not shared with third parties. We treat the details of your business with the same discretion you'd expect from any professional advisory relationship.
Can I upgrade from the Check-In to a longer engagement?
Yes, many owners start with a Check-In and choose to continue afterwards. If you decide to move into a Roadmap or Development Programme shortly after, we apply a portion of the Check-In fee toward the next engagement — just let us know when you get in touch.
What currency and payment methods do you accept?
All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We accept bank transfer and most major online payment methods. For the longer programmes, we're open to discussing a split payment schedule — bring it up during the introductory call.
